In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Android music and audio app market in Bulgaria saw diverse performance trends among the top applications. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.5K in late November. Downloads surged in early December, reaching around 5.3K, while active users remained strong, peaking at about 216K by the end of the quarter.

TIDAL Music: HiFi sound had a relatively stable revenue trend, with a slight peak at $424 in early December. Downloads increased gradually, particularly in December, peaking at 111. Active users, however, saw a significant decline from around 4.7K to under 1K throughout the quarter.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player showed a decline in revenue, starting from $351 and ending the quarter at $161. Downloads remained fairly consistent, with slight fluctuations, while active users decreased from 4.4K to 1.8K.

Pocket FM: Audio Series saw an increase in revenue, peaking at $319 in mid-November. Downloads, however, decreased significantly over the quarter, starting at 255 and falling to 27. Active users also declined from 704 to 418.

Apple Music maintained a stable revenue trend, with minor fluctuations around $180. Downloads showed a slight upward trend, peaking at 528 in late December, while active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 8K.
